They are adorable!! Our Beagle had a large lump next to his tail and they found cancer cells in it. She said if we have it removed now it should not spread. So we have him scheduled for surgery on the 14th.
Our beagle came through just fine but have to take some samples to University Lab. There were little tendrils snaking off into the muscle and she wants to be sure that they have not already turned cancerous. Mean while he has stitches on his rear and front leg. We can just hope for the best.
It was nerve cancer and very rare. Chemo does not help and more surgery may wind up losing his entire leg so I am just going to say we will just continue as we have. Love him and she said it may not move fast if at all but she did warn that being cancer on the nerve and nerves branch out all over to just take it a day at a time. As for now he is like nothing is wrong.
